It’s a little under 50 degrees on the Oregon co

It’s a little under 50 degrees on the Oregon coast right now. Pellegrino in one hand and a husband puppy cuddle in the other and we are watching the ocean waves out the window.

When we first arrived… I had this laundry list of things to do. Then I had the thought.. “Na… you’re on vacation.” Vacations aren’t for work. Vacations are for fun and rest. Ughhh the guilt I mildly feel.

After my wedding, I was exhausted. After my art installation, I was exhausted. Now during my busy fall season, I am exhausted. I did signed up for all these wonderful things, I have 0 regrets, and am so grateful for it all.
I’m in this season of learning what my limits are and it’s just taking time. I’m learning that less and quality is more… not just for me but the clients I serve and my family. I can’t show up for you very well… if I cannot show up for me. So, for the next few days I’m choosing me.

This photo I posted reminds me everything I want to strive for. Presence and joy in my life and especially with my family.

I felt called to share where I’m at… take what you like and leave the rest. Perhaps someone needs to know they aren’t alone or you’ve been here too.

I love getting creative. I couldn’t wait to share this. I’m going to hold on to fall as long as I can despite the snowy wonderland i woke up to this morning. 😏
